Statement of Faith

1. The Bible

We believe that the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, contains inspired words from the Lord and principles  that are profitable for application to our daily lives

2. The Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit—equal in essence, power, and glory.

Scripture References: Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14

3. God the Father

We believe God the Father is the Creator and Sustainer of heaven and earth. He is holy, righteous, loving, merciful, and sovereign over all creation.

Scripture References: Genesis 1:1; Psalm 103:13; Isaiah 64:8

4. Jesus Christ – The Son of God

We believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, who is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for sin, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return again in power and glory.

Scripture References: John 1:1–14; Isaiah 53; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:11

5. The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. He convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, indwells them, empowers them for holy living and service, distributes spiritual gifts, and produces godly character in the life of the believer.

Scripture References: John 14:16–17; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22–23; 1 Corinthians 12

6. Humanity and the Fall

We believe that humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin through disobedience. As a result, all people are born with a sinful nature and are separated from God, in need of salvation.

Scripture References: Genesis 1:26–27; Genesis 3; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12

7. Salvation by Grace Through Faith

We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation is not earned by human works but is granted through the finished work of Christ on the cross.

Scripture References: Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10; Titus 3:5

8. Regeneration, Justification, and Adoption

We believe that those who place their faith in Jesus Christ are regenerated by the Holy Spirit, justified before God, and adopted into the family of God.

Scripture References: John 3:3–7; Romans 5:1; Romans 8:15–17; 2 Corinthians 5:17

9. Sanctification and Holy Living

We believe that sanctification is both a position and a progressive work of the Holy Spirit, whereby believers are called to live holy lives, separated unto God and conformed to the image of Christ.

Scripture References: 1 Thessalonians 4:3; Romans 12:1–2; Hebrews 12:14

10. Deliverance and Freedom in Christ

We believe that through the authority of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, believers can experience deliverance from spiritual bondage, oppression, and the works of the enemy. Christ has given His Church authority to minister freedom in His name.

Scripture References: Luke 4:18; Luke 10:19; Colossians 2:15; John 8:36

11. The Church

We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, composed of all believers. The Church exists to worship God, preach the Gospel, make disciples, administer the ordinances, and demonstrate God’s love to the world.

Scripture References: Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:42; Ephesians 4:11–13

12. The Ordinances

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ instituted two ordinances for the Church:

i. Baptism by water, as a public testimony of faith in Christ

ii. The Lord’s Supper (Communion), in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice

Scripture References: Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26

13. Spiritual Gifts and Ministry

We believe that the Holy Spirit distributes spiritual gifts to believers for the edification of the Church and the advancement of the Kingdom of God. These gifts are to be exercised in love and order.

Scripture References: 1 Corinthians 12:4–11; Romans 12:6–8; Ephesians 4:11

14. Resurrection, Judgment, and Eternal Destiny

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, the final judgment, eternal life for the redeemed, and eternal separation from God for those who reject Christ.

Scripture References: John 5:28–29; 1 Corinthians 15; Revelation 20:11–15

15. The Return of Jesus Christ

We believe in the personal, visible, and bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ to establish His eternal Kingdom.

Scripture References: Acts 1:11; Matthew 24:30; Revelation 22:12
